Is it really free?

Yes. Class Fish Tank is a free project for teachers. There is no paid plan and there are no ads.

What do I need in my classroom?

Any computer connected to your projector or smartboard with a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox). Nothing to install.

Do my students need accounts or devices?

No. Only the teacher signs in. Students just watch the tank and cheer.

Can I use it with more than one class?

Yes. Make a classroom for each class. Each one has its own fish, decorations, settings and leaderboard.

What happens at the end of the day?

At 23:59 in the classroom's time zone, every fish goes back to its starting size so each day is a fresh race. Every feeding stays on the leaderboard for a year.

Should I check with my school first?

Some schools ask teachers to get approval before using online tools with student names. Class Fish Tank only needs first names or nicknames, and our Privacy Policy explains exactly what is stored.
